ANEMON GRAND ADANA HOTEL REVIEW
Anemon Grand Adana Hotel is a strong option whether you are visiting Adana for business or pleasure. Its modern design and welcoming staff make a good first impression. Anyone who has stayed at another five-star Anemon property will recognise the concept, but the carefully designed rooms still manage to feel comfortable and homely. We stayed here during our Adana–Mersin trip in November, and this is our first-hand experience.
LOBBY
As soon as you walk through the door, the high ceiling and enormous green plants in oversized pots catch your eye. The lobby feels exceptionally spacious, and we were greeted by friendly staff.

The understated colours work well together, making this a pleasant place to sit with one of the newspapers provided by the hotel. Tea and coffee were also available.
ROOM
We won this stay through a giveaway on Anemon Hotel's Facebook page, and the hotel reserved a suite for us so that we could experience the property at its best. Check-in took no more than five minutes, after which a member of staff accompanied us to our room.

The suite was effectively divided into three areas: an entrance hall, a living space and a bedroom. You can see the seating and sleeping areas above. Our room was on the 14th floor, with a view over the city lights, and the television could be turned to face either side—a small but very useful feature.

The bed was exceptionally wide and comfortable. The pillow menu offered feather, orthopaedic and cotton options, while the desk and full-length mirrors were genuinely practical. There were also plenty of surfaces on which to spread out your belongings. Since we have a talent for making any hotel room look lived-in within minutes, we wisely took the photographs first =).

A wardrobe stood to the left of the suite's entrance hall. Inside, the hotel had thought of the small details, including packaged towels, slippers, shoe polish and a laundry bag. During our stay, Anemon also offered complimentary shirt ironing and shoe polishing between 18:00 and 21:00; as hotel services can change, it is worth confirming this at reception.

Beside the wardrobe was a bench where you could sit to put on your shoes. It held chargeable cakes and crackers, along with complimentary water, tea, coffee and a kettle. Tea matters a great deal to us, so having a kettle in the room was a real pleasure. After a tiring day of sightseeing, few things are better than returning to a comfortable hotel room and making a cup of tea.

The bathroom was average in size and spotlessly clean. Toiletries included shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, hand soap and a shower cap. We used them and were perfectly happy with the quality. A hairdryer was also provided, as you can see in the photograph.
A lovely surprise was waiting when we entered the suite: fresh fruit and a bottle of wine had been arranged beautifully for us. Thoughtful touches like this really do make you feel special.
BREAKFAST
Our stay included an open-buffet breakfast. The selection of cheeses, olives and fresh greens was extensive, and we thought the breakfast was very good.

The breakfast room on the third floor was bright and spacious. In addition to the buffet, freshly cooked omelettes and other egg dishes were available and tasted excellent.

The presentation was cheerful and nicely coordinated, and guests could also make their own toast. We chose a breakfast plate piled with greens and several cheeses, accompanied by eggs cooked in a pan with melted cheese.
LOCATION
Anemon Grand Adana stands next to M1 Adana Shopping Centre, west of the city centre, and the hotel currently lists parking among its services. The old claim that the hotel was only 3 km from the airport referred to Adana Şakirpaşa Airport, which no longer handles scheduled commercial passenger flights. Adana is now served by Çukurova International Airport; allow roughly 30–40 minutes by road, depending on traffic.
OUR OVERALL IMPRESSION
This was our first stay at an Anemon hotel, and we were genuinely pleased. The only detail we disliked was the widespread use of cool white lighting, although that seemed fairly common in Adana. Based on our experience, the hotel worked well for either a short break or a longer stay. There was also a substantial spa, but unfortunately we did not have time to try it. The hotel still advertises spa and wellness facilities, including a hammam and sauna, but current access and prices should be confirmed directly.

Overall, the hotel felt thoroughly professional without becoming impersonal. The staff were friendly yet appropriately discreet—exactly the balance we look for. We would feel comfortable choosing it for a business trip or a stay with friends or family. One unusual option allowed guests to keep the room for a full 24 hours and check out at the same time they had checked in. At the time of our visit this cost USD 10; as of August 2026, the hotel's official website lists the supplement as TRY 400, so confirm the current terms when booking.
